This site is a resource for those affected by the 2025 Eaton Canyon wildfire. According to FEMA, we are disaster #4856. While it is nice to have a number, sometimes you need a little more information. Hopefully you will find something here that can help.
There are many people and organizations who have created similar websites for this emergency. Most of them are focused on what is going on right now, how to find a shelter for the next few days, or where to find a hot meal, or how to contact FEMA. But what happens six months from now, when public attention has moved on? This process will take years.
My plan for Altadena-4856.com is to provide information for the long haul. Cleanup, inspections, security, permits, community, those are things that interest me. We will still be here after the news vans are gone.
